My First Mother’s Day – 2004

This was perhaps the happiest day of my life. Pictured here with Elisha our daughter when she was 8 months old, and I was 48. The day was a triumph for me as I lost a number of babies due to miscarriages prior to Elisha’s birth. Her birth was scary too as she was born early, but she did well and as you can see was a beautiful baby!
Mother’s Day – today!
Elisha is now 17 years old and a Junior at Nampa Christian School, in Nampa Idaho. She’s a 4.0 student this year! She has always been the best daughter we could have ever dreamed of. We’ve never had a tiff, and she’s an amazing assistant in my office when I need some extra help. When she was 2 we were invited to the White House where she kissed George Bush, to which he said, “That’s the best thing that has happened to me all day”. Before Elisha came to us, a pastor prayed for us and said, “Child of destiny come forth”. The day at the White House I was reminded of that, and realized the word was fulfilled that moment. We are grateful for the gift of embryo adoption, Elisha, and another year to enjoy each other. Embryos can be frozen a long time and be born!
Baby Noah – Frozen for 15 Years!
This is a news story about a baby named Noah that was frozen for 15 years. This is not one of our babies, but we have had babies born after 18 years, and many also born after 15 years in the freezer. We don’t refer to embryos as “leftovers” and our method is an “adoption” method where the donors select and adopting family first rather than adopters “shopping” for their embryos. Nevertheless this is a story of a miracle child born through the miracle of embryo adoption and we wanted to highlight that embryos frozen a long time can make it!

Start a Word Doc.
- Write your letter or note to your family, stating Dear Bob and Sue etc.
- Insert your photos, if you have them, into the Word Doc.
- Name your masterpiece and save it: Joey’s first birthday for Bob & Sue
Email your update to: maria@adoptembryos.org
We will take care of the rest by adding these updates to your adopter or donor Sharefile folder for them to see. They will be notified by Sharefile that they have updates! People love updates, and we love to pass them on!
